About Lynch Roofing
Lynch Roofing, founded in 1979 by Bob Lynch, is now on our second generation of ownership. Bob’s son Matt Lynch took over ownership after 15 years working on the crew.
Our Founder
Bob Lynch, born in Evanston, Illinois in 1953, has always had a knack for entrepreneurial construction work. He started off doing handyman work all over the North Shore, accumulating experience in the various trades. Over time, he leaned more and more into the roofing business, and at the age of 27, Lynch Roofing was born.
Lynch Roofing became the go-to roofing service for the Wilmette area and still prides itself on building and training its own crews.
In 2001, Bob decided to utilize his combined knowledge of the trades to expand his business into the Custom Home Building arena. Lynch Partners Construction was born and is still thriving to this day!
Lynch Roofing Owner
Matt Lynch, born and raised in Wilmette, took over Lynch Roofing in 2020 after 15 years of working various roles on the crew and in the office. Matt always had a calling for the outdoors, which made working construction a perfect fit. Matt spent his early years working for both Lynch Roofing and Lynch Partners Construction as a laborer, working his way up the totem pole. He later switched full time to roofing and never looked back. Today Matt prides himself on delivering a 5 star service to his community and always installing quality materials.
